This website contains information that can be disturbing to certain individuals, and thus I ask politely that the reader of this website should be careful not to express projection (attributing one’s thoughts, feelings, or motives to someone else) upon my documents and/or upon me. I have written this website with care and love for the truth, and I try not to attack the person of any belief system, but rather, I try to reason against what I perceive as false teaching. Thank you for taking the time to read this short note. May El Elyon bless you with proper understanding of that which is called the Bible.

The question must be asked, “Why even bother studying the Bible when the Pastor, along with the Deacons, of my assembly preach and/or teach from the Bible? Is it not enough for me to learn from them that I should study for myself”? To answer this question, we must ask other questions: “How do I know that my Pastor and/or Deacons are incapable of improper understanding? Am I a gullible individual or do I research the teachings of my Pastor and/or Deacons to see if what they teach is in harmony with the entire Bible? Are the sources accurate that my Pastor and/or Deacons used in their teachings or are they subject to error”? When it all comes down to it, it is up to each individual to discern for himself or herself what are the answers to these questions.

There were these three blind men who were presented with an elephant. They tried to figure out what the whole elephant was like. The first blind man approached cautiously; walking up to the elephant and putting his hands and then arms around its leg, he proclaimed, “Why the whole elephant is much like a tree, slender and tall.” The second man grasped the trunk of the elephant and exclaimed, “No, the whole elephant is more like a large snake.” The third blind man grasped the ear of the elephant and stated, “You are both wrong; the whole elephant more closely resembles a fan.” Each of these blind men had a part of the truth, yet not the whole truth itself as to what the whole elephant is like. It is important to research all interpretations of the Bible lest we be like these blind men.

My documentations hold my interpretations, and because of this, it is up to each individual to research my interpretations if they are accurate or in error based on solid evidence and not on anecdotal evidence. I do not think my interpretations are in error, but I won’t deny that fact that there may be a chance that they are in error. Therefore, it is up to you, as the reader, to let me know if I err in my interpretations.
